Merry Christmas to you all.
2020 has been a most difficult year for everyone!
For all of our members in Cornwall Symphony Chorus it has been a frustrating and, for some, a lonely year. As a group we find our fortnightly rehearsals a real pleasure; an opportunity to come together, sing and socialise. It is a well-known and accepted fact that singing, especially in a choir, can have a positive effect on a person and this has been missed by many during 2020.
Performing for all our friends and supporters is also great fun for us and that has been sadly lacking this year, disappointingly so.
However, looking forward into 2021, our intention is to get back to singing together again. Plans are in place to start rehearsals (safely distanced of course and abiding by guidelines) and new songs will be learnt, to ensure we are ready for our concert on July 17th at Truro Methodist Church.
The concert will be advertised, and tickets be made available during the first half of 2021 so keep checking on the website.
In the meantime, the Cornwall Symphony Chorus would like to wish all our friends a very Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year, with the hope that 2021 will be safer for everyone and allow us all to regain some sense of ‘normality’ again.
